Y'all ready to taco bout a journey? Lol well my food journey is probably one of my favorite journeys to go on, especially a Mexican food restaurant. If you follow my social media accounts, then you know I am from Texas & us Texans are known for our Tex-Mex and Barbecue. You might wonder what the big deal is about it, but I can honestly say that out of all of the 20 states I have visited in my last 21 years, Texas has the best Mexican food in my opinion!
My favorite restaurants are Herreras, the E-Bar, Chuy's, Mi Cocina, Ernestos, Arboledas, Desperados, and Lunada's just to name a few and yes, these are all local to Dallas. Every time I go to a Mexican food restaurant the queso and salsa is a MUST! Depending on my mood I will be getting a burrito, some enchiladas, some tacos, maybe some nachos, or some quesadillas. As you can see, I'm not too picky when it comes to this deliciousness. I dropped some of the pictures of the food I have received from some of my favorite restaurants!

From Chuy's I LOVEEE to get the queso and the big as yo' face burrito! Yes, that is really what it is called lol. I always get the oven roasted chicken burrito with no beans inside, boom boom sauce on the top, and green chile rice on the side. It is spicy, but all the flavors taste so well that it will leave your mouth watering for more.

If you go to the E-bar, then make sure that you treat yourself to some queso, their fajitas, and their sour cream enchiladas! You have no idea how many times I have gotten sour cream enchiladas and did not like them at all, but these tasted sooo different! The chicken was filled with flavor & the sauce was to die for so I definitely recommend that! The fajitas on the other hand are the best I have had in awhile! The way they season the chicken and beef is something unexplainable and something you will just have to try for yourself.

On another note, if you aren't trying to spend too much on dinner but you still want that gourmet meal, then head to your nearest La Michocana or your favorite meat market and pick you up some fajita beef and fajita chicken! Fred and I do this all the time, especially if we are trying to budget because you can get sooo much for such a small price. We usually grill these bad boys and get the corn tortillas, pico de gallo, and salsa verde from La Michocana to top the fajitas! If you have seriously never tried any of this, then try it tonight and you will thank me later!
Anywho, I hope y'all enjoyed the first post on this yumminess because there will be plenty more to come!(:
